Company overview

Engineers shapeable, all-solid-state structural supercapacitors that can be molded directly into a vehicle's carbon-fiber body panels or battery pack, rather than occupying dedicated space as a separate component. Removing the liquid electrolyte found in conventional supercapacitors improves safety and passes crash/safety testing more easily, while the moldable pouch format lets OEMs integrate high power-density storage without redesigning the vehicle.

Coupled with standard batteries, the cells absorb power peaks — extending battery life, enabling ultra-fast charging and reducing downtime in applications from electric and hybrid vehicles to drones, e-bikes, electric boats and logistics fleets. The company has already prototyped with Dallara (a Super Formula racing application), opened an independent R&D lab in Modena's Motor Valley, and been recognized by CES 2025, the MUBIL Mobility Awards, and Singapore's SLINGSHOT 2024 (Top 10 of 5,500 startups).
