Trump admin and New York Times at odds over crypto

The New York Times published an article detailing how the White House's AI and crypto czar, David Sacks, has a major conflict of interest regarding his own position in the Trump administration and his several cryptocurrency investments.

The NYT accuses Sacks of directly benefitting himself and close business associates with his policies on cypto and AI and talks about hundreds of millions in investments still in Sacks' name in the sector.

Sacks responded on X calling the article an "hoax" and describing it as speculative and unfounded. Trump or the White House still haven't commented.
