China and Italy are intensifying their economic and technological partnership, expanding Italian companies’ access to the Chinese market and carrying out joint projects in science, infrastructure, and culture.

China is committed to creating transparent conditions for investments in Italy, while Rome emphasizes the importance of strategic cooperation through 2027, including cultural and technological initiatives.

In 2025, significant projects have already been implemented: the China–Italy Innovation Park in Lingang was inaugurated, the “Zhangheng‑102” satellite was launched, and the double taxation avoidance agreement came into effect. Cultural initiatives are also being promoted, including film exchanges, translation of literary works, and a pilot visa-free program for Italian citizens.
