European stock markets opened in mixed territory, with investors remaining cautious amid an international environment still characterized by significant geopolitical uncertainty. However, there are signs of cautious optimism linked to potential diplomatic developments: new negotiations between Iran and the United States are expected over the weekend, supported by a recent temporary truce that has revived hopes for a negotiated solution. At the same time, Israel has expressed willingness to initiate direct dialogue with Lebanon, with talks scheduled in the coming days under U.S. mediation. In this context, markets are moving carefully: while tensions and risks related to the evolution of the conflict persist, any diplomatic progress could help stabilize the situation and support investor sentiment in the short term.
