Toyota Motor extends global gains in sales, production and exports

Toyota Motor Corp on Thursday reported continued growth in sales, production, and exports for October, marking sustained momentum across its global operations.

The Aichi, Japan-based automotive manufacturer said total worldwide sales including Lexus increased for the 10th consecutive month in October, rising 2.1% year-on-year to 922,087 units from 903,103 units.

The 2025 cumulative total sales was up 4.5% to 8.7 million units, from 8.4 million units in the same period last year.

Worldwide production increased 3.8% to 926,987 units in a fifth consecutive rise, from 893,164 units in October last year, bringing the cumulative total for the year so far at 8.4 million units, up 5.1% from 7.9 million units previously.

Toyota's total exports climbed for the third consecutive month in October, up 13% year-on-year at 202,067 units from 178,492 units.
