Salesforce.com Inc on Tuesday hailed the launch of its operations in Saudi Arabia alongside customer wins that were showcased at its maiden innovation day earlier in November.
The San Francisco, California-based customer relationship management software company plans to establish a regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia, and soon expects to open a new office in Riyadh's central business district.
"Saudi Arabia is becoming one of the world's most dynamic digital economies, and we are proud to deepen our commitment to the Kingdom," said Chair and Chief Executive Officer Marc Benioff.
At its event in the Middle East nation, Salesforce said it had taken steps to operationalise a USD500 million commitment to the Saudi Arabia that was unveiled in February.
Salesforce said Red Sea Global, a real estate development company owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, is leveraging its Agentforce 360 product to build a data-driven customer experience platform.
"Salesforce is supporting our vision by helping us build truly agentic, intelligent experiences at scale, where data and AI work together to deliver exceptional value for our guests, partners, and communities," said RSG Head of Technology and Corporate Excellence Sultan Moraished.
Also Tuesday, Salesforce confirmed the completion of its previously announced acquisition of Redwood City, California-based data management software company Informatica Inc.
