The value of the IGI (Italian Gas Index) for June 16 stands at €40.99/MWh, up from €39.26/MWh on June 15.

The index, calculated daily by the Gestore dei Mercati Energetici (GME), serves as a tool for interpreting and assessing trends in Italy’s gas markets. It aims to provide a transparent and replicable benchmark for market participants, useful for hedging operations and/or supply contracts.
