However, new Chinese tariffs on US coal and LNG, part of a broader trade dispute, are raising concerns about disruptions to the LNG market. US gas production has increased in February, averaging 105.7 bcfd, though recent daily output has dipped slightly from a near-record high.

Warmer weather is forecast initially, followed by a return to colder temperatures. Meanwhile, US LNG exports have hit a new record, rising to 15.3 bcfd in February.
