This contract is part of the anti-submarine warfare frigates program—a joint initiative between the Dutch and Belgian navies—that will supply both countries with two frigates each, along with two naval gun systems for every frigate. The agreement includes installation, training, documentation, spare parts, and tools, as well as an option for BAE Systems' 3P programmable ammunition and additional guns for training purposes. The first gun is set to be delivered in 2026.
