The FTSE MIB declined 0.2%, slipping below the 35,200 mark on Monday, as European markets remained cautious amid ongoing tensions in the Middle East and a focus on corporate earnings reports.

Last week, the European Central Bank cut its key interest rate for the second consecutive time, the first back-to-back cuts since the 2011 euro crisis, as inflation risks in the eurozone seem to be easing faster than anticipated.
Unicredit and Stellantis decline, while Eni and Tenaris post gains
Among large-cap stocks, Unicredit fell 0.8%, Stellantis dropped 1%, Eni gained 1.2%, and Tenaris rose 1%.
