The FTSE MIB opened little changed around the 34,700 mark on Wednesday, following two consecutive sessions of losses.
FTSE Mib opens slightly higher on Wednesday
Investors continued to assess earnings reports from major companies across the eurozone, along with the outlook for US interest rates. Markets are increasingly expecting less aggressive monetary easing by the Federal Reserve, amid cautious remarks from several Fed officials earlier this week and a series of positive economic data.
Stellantis opens up by 3%
Among large-cap stocks, Intesa Sanpaolo fell 0.7% and Unicredit was down 0.6%, while Stellantis surged 3%.
