Safran SA announced on Wednesday that it has renewed its distribution agreement with China Aviation Supplies Co. Ltd. as part of its efforts to strengthen its presence in China.

The Paris-based aerospace services and equipment manufacturer stated that the renewed contract with the Beijing-based aircraft parts distributor aims to enhance the availability of Safran’s spare parts and equipment, along with its maintenance, repair, and operations services in the Chinese market. The agreement specifically focuses on Safran’s Electrical & Power and Ventilation Systems businesses. The two Safran divisions will support China Aviation Supplies through regional representatives in Beijing, assisting with customer support and sales activities across the region.

Executives praise the deal

This agreement bolsters our position and aligns with our strategy to expand our footprint in China while providing sustainable solutions to more Chinese customers,” said Bruno Bellanger, General Manager of Safran Power Division. Zhang Jun, General Manager of China Aviation Supplies, added, “This renewal not only reaffirms our shared commitment to ensuring a reliable supply of high-quality aircraft materials, but also reflects our mutual vision of fostering sustainable growth and advancing the aviation sector in China.”
