BUX launches IPO and other capital raisings for retail investors

BUX has adopted PrimaryBid’s capital markets platform to enhance accessibility for retail investors. As PrimaryBid's first pan-European partner, the ABN AMRO subsidiary will enable retail investors in the Netherlands and Belgium to access IPOs and regulated capital raises previously available only to institutional investors.

BUX launches IPO and other capital raisings for retail investors PrimaryBid, which has already supported over 30 SMEs in France over the past three years, is now expanding its offerings to these regions. This agreement aligns with Euronext's goal of increasing retail investor engagement in financial markets. Following the recent EU Listing Act, which simplifies capital raising rules and expands retail participation, BUX and ABN AMRO aim to enhance the competitiveness of European capital markets. Yorick Naeff, CEO of BUX, stated, "For too long, access to stock market offerings has been limited to institutional investors. Our partnership with PrimaryBid is a crucial step toward leveling the playing field, allowing retail investors to participate in various capital raises."

Confidence on success

Francois De Wiljes, Head of PrimaryBid SA, expressed confidence in replicating their French success in the Netherlands and Belgium through this collaboration. René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, noted that the BUX-PrimaryBid partnership will open more opportunities for share issuance and strengthen cross-border retail participation, particularly with the new EU Listing Act. Paul Huysmans, Head of Equity Capital Markets at ABN AMRO, emphasized the importance of engaging retail investors and creating value through this partnership, which accelerates innovation in capital markets.
