No changes in the Italian box office rankings, which once again see Wuthering Heights firmly in first place. The film leads the top ten with €220,000 on the reference Monday and reaches a total of €8.3 million, surpassing one million admissions. A result that confirms the title’s strength, despite the expected slowdown caused by the television overlap with the Sanremo Music Festival and the Champions League, which affected the takings of nearly all films currently in theaters.

Holding steady in second place is Hamnet, with €53,000 and a total of €2.2 million, followed by Rental Family, which completes the podium with €50,000 and €685,000 overall. The Things Unsaid continues its solid run, grossing €24,000 and climbing to €6.4 million in total, while Mission Shelter adds €21,000 and approaches the €400,000 mark. Agata Christian – Delitto sulle nevi takes in €18,000 and reaches €3.3 million overall.

In the lower half of the chart, Whistle totals €16,000 (€261,000 overall), followed by The Wizard of the Kremlin, which comes close to €16,000 and rises to €702,000. Goat grosses €14,000 and surpasses €1.1 million in total, while closing the top ten is Tomorrow I’ll Question, with €12,000 and €167,000 overall.

The overall picture highlights a stable yet slowed market. However, the coming weeks could reshuffle the cards: starting tomorrow, new titles will hit theaters ready to attract different audiences, while March will open with anticipated returns and new releases. The Italian box office now awaits a sign of recovery, relying on a strong release schedule capable of bringing audiences back to cinemas.
