ECB: interest rates left unchanged

The European Central Bank leaves interest rates unchanged, in line with expectations. The deposit rate remains at 2%, the main refinancing rate at 2.15%, and the marginal lending facility at 2.40%. Rates are at the levels set after the last cut in June 2025, which capped a total two-percentage-point reduction over the past year in short-term borrowing costs.
