Industrial production in the UK rose by 1.1% month-over-month in October 2025, rebounding from a 2% decline in the previous month and exceeding market expectations of a 0.7% gain.

It represented the strongest monthly growth since February, as output recovered in the manufacturing subsector (0.5% vs -1.7% in September), particularly in the manufacture of transport equipment (3.6% vs -13.8%), machinery (4.4% vs -1.6%), and other manufacturing repair (2.8% vs 1.1%).
