Swiss investor sentiment hits 10-month high

The Swiss investors’ sentiment index climbed to 12.2 in November 2025, the highest reading since January, from -7.7 in the prior month.


The improvement occurred despite the current conditions index slipping to -4.9 from 0.0 in October.


"Analysts' expectations regarding export momentum have brightened significantly after Switzerland and the US announced a joint declaration of intent for a trade agreement."


UBS, which issues the indicator in cooperation with the CFA Society Switzerland, said. It added that survey results suggest the Swiss National Bank (SNB) will probably maintain current interest rates during its December monetary policy assessment.
