American fintech company Intuit has signed a multi-year deal with OpenAI worth over $100 million to bring ChatGPT models into its applications, providing users with new ways to manage their finances.

On November 18, 2025, American fintech company Intuit, known for its personal finance and small business accounting services such as TurboTax for tax filings, QuickBooks for bookkeeping, and Credit Karma for credit score management, announced a multi-year agreement with OpenAI, a leading artificial intelligence developer, valued at over $100 million.

Under the deal, Intuit plans to integrate ChatGPT models, a language model developed by OpenAI, into its applications and create new features within ChatGPT that allow users to interact with their financial data. This will enable customers to estimate tax returns, calculate loans and mortgages, and receive personalized financial recommendations.

Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi stated that the partnership will combine Intuit’s financial data, including user metrics and credit risk models, with OpenAI’s AI technology to offer customers new ways to manage their finances.

Following the announcement, Intuit shares rose more than 2% in pre-market trading on the New York Stock Exchange. At the same time, investments in artificial intelligence continue to grow, with major tech companies such as Microsoft, Alphabet/Google, Meta, and Nvidia planning to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in AI development and infrastructure in 2025.
