Japan industrial production recovers in September, revised data shows

Japan's industrial production growth in September was better than initially expected, revised data published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade & Industry showed Monday.
The seasonally adjusted index of production rose 3.8% year-on-year in September, upwardly revised from 3.4%, accelerating from a 1.6% decline in August.
Meanwhile, industrial production grew 2.6% month-on-month in September, up from preliminary figure of 2.2%, recovering from a 1.5% fall in August.
