France producer prices fall 0.2% in September

Producer prices in the French domestic market fell by 0.2% month-over-month in September 2025, the same as in the previous period.
Costs declined more sharply for mining, quarrying, energy, and water supply (-0.8% vs. -0.2% in August).
Meanwhile, prices for manufactured products rose 0.1%, following a 0.3% fall in August. Within manufacturing, food products, beverages, and tobacco increased slightly (0.2% vs. -0.1%), while electrical and electronic equipment, including computers and machinery, edged up 0.1% after a 0.5% decline.
Coke and refined petroleum products saw notable monthly increases (2.8% vs. -5.8% in August), while transport equipment remained nearly unchanged (-0.1%).
On an annual basis, producer prices rose modestly by 0.1%, unchanged from the previous month, supported by moderate gains in manufactured products.
