Football club FC Barcelona has signed a new agreement with Swedish music streaming service Spotify, extending their partnership for shirt sponsorship and stadium naming rights.
Under the new deal, the Spotify logo will remain on the playing kits of Barcelona’s men’s and women’s teams, as well as on the club’s training gear, until 2030, while the Spotify Camp Nou naming rights will continue through 2034.
Although financial terms have not been officially disclosed, Spanish media report that Spotify will pay the club €65 million per year for front-of-shirt sponsorship, an additional €10 million annually for training kit branding, and €20 million per year for stadium naming rights. In total, the agreement could be worth around €460 million by 2034.
The partnership between Barcelona and Spotify began in the 2022/23 season. The initial four-year deal was reportedly valued at €280 million, meaning the new agreement represents a significant increase in annual value for the Catalan club.
The renewal with Spotify completes a series of major commercial agreements secured by Barcelona over the past year. The club recently extended its 14-year kit supply deal with Nike, worth €1.7 billion, and signed a sleeve sponsorship with Chinese home appliances brand Midea, reportedly valued at €12 million per year.
