Spanish industrial production accelerates in July - INE

Spanish industrial production picked up up in July, numbers on Wednesday showed.

According to INE, industrial output rose 2.5% year-on-year on a seasonally-adjusted basis, picking up speed from a 1.9% advance in June.

July's expansion is the sharpest growth since a 2.6% rise in October of last year.

By sector, the chunkiest growth came in energy, where output rose 5.8%.
