The United States is reportedly preparing for a possible strike on Iran in the coming days, likely over the weekend.

According to Bloomberg, citing administration officials, the situation remains fluid and plans may change, but the move signals that Washington is assembling the necessary infrastructure in the Middle East to potentially enter into direct war with Iran.

This was confirmed by Israel’s ambassador to France, Joshua Zarka, who stated in an interview with BFM TV this morning: “The Americans are ready to strike Iran immediately. The aircraft are in place, everything is ready, and the president has instructed them to be prepared.” Zarka added that some operations were halted "at the last moment" due to the presence of civilians. “Our targets,” he said, “are Iran’s military nuclear and ballistic programs, and only afterward, the country’s military leadership. Unfortunately, they are surrounded by civilians, who may sometimes be involved.”

According to U.S. media reports, the U.S. is relocating military infrastructure vulnerable to Iranian attacks away from Middle Eastern bases.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister has warned against any direct U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran conflict, stating the Islamic Republic has “all necessary options on the table.” “If the U.S. actively intervenes in support of Israel, Iran will have no choice but to use its tools to teach the aggressors a lesson and defend itself,” said Kazem Gharibabadi. “Our military decision-makers have all necessary options on the table. Our recommendation to the U.S. is to at least stay out of it if they won’t stop Israeli aggression.”

Meanwhile, the conflict between Israel and Iran is escalating. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they launched new airstrikes overnight on Tehran and surrounding areas. Explosions were reported in the Iranian capital and the nearby city of Karaj. The IDF issued evacuation orders via Telegram for the Iranian villages of Arak and Khondab, located near nuclear facilities, announcing imminent attacks in those areas.

According to IDF assessments, Iran launched around 30 ballistic missiles toward Israel this morning. The missiles hit Soroka Hospital in Beersheba and the cities of Holon and Ramat Gan in central Israel, where three people are critically injured. Israel's Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service reported 65 people were wounded in the Iranian bombardment, with six civilians critically injured—two evacuated to Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer and four to Wolfson Hospital in Holon.

"This morning, the Iranian terrorist tyrants launched missiles at Soroka Hospital in Beersheba and at the civilian population in central Israel. The tyrants of Tehran will pay the price," wrote Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on X. Iran claimed the ballistic missile that struck Soroka Hospital was actually targeting a nearby military intelligence base. According to The Times of Israel, the IDF Southern Command base is located two kilometers from the hospital.

In response, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ordered intensified strikes on military and strategic targets in Iran and government facilities in Tehran, with the goal of "eliminating threats to the State of Israel and destabilizing the Ayatollah regime." Gallant called Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei a “coward” and said he will be “held responsible” for his “war crimes.”
