UK industrial production falls 0.4% in November
Production in mining and quarrying fell by 1.5%, a smaller decline compared to the previous month’s 2.9% drop, while manufacturing output contracted by 0.3%, an improvement from the 0.6% drop in October. Conversely, production in the electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning sector slowed to a 0.2% increase, down from 1.5% in the prior month, and water supply, sewerage, and waste management output declined by 0.3%, reversing a 0.5% increase in October.
