Seven2, a leading European private equity firm, has acquired Fulgard, a player in the Italian workplace safety market, from independent European investment fund Argos Wityu.
Mediobanca acted as financial advisor to the Seven2 fund, with a team composed of Stefano Cappello, Luca Mangiagalli, Vincenzo Scotto di Frega and Michele Faustini. Foglia & Partners, A&O Shearman and Deloitte also assisted Seven2. Argos Wityu acted with a team composed of Jean-Pierre Di Benedetto, Andrea Pavesi, Gabriele Scalco and Davide Liverani. In recent months, the latter had brought together a number of companies specializing in worker and business safety, starting with Vicenza-based Sicura, to create the group later named Fulgard.
