Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners sorms partnership with Investindustrial

Abu Dhabi Catalyst Partners (ADCP), a joint venture between Mubadala Capital and Alpha Wave Global aimed at promoting growth and development within the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), announced a strategic partnership with Investindustrial, one of Europe’s leading independent investment groups with €15 billion in assets under management.

ADCP participated in the first closing of Investindustrial’s eighth private equity fund, which will continue the Group's well-established buyout strategy. Key pillars of this strategy include international expansion, industrial repositioning, and add-on acquisitions, leveraging Investindustrial’s extensive experience in creating, managing, and selling companies.

What Investindustrial does

Investindustrial specializes in partnering with businesses and family-owned companies that manage niche global brands with significant growth potential. Many of the firms in Investindustrial’s portfolio are based in Italy and Spain, with a strong presence in key markets like the United States and Asia. Additionally, several of its portfolio companies, including the Italian luxury fashion brand Ermenegildo Zegna, Italian food retail chain Eataly, and the high-end design leader Flos B&B Italia Group, are already expanding their footprint in the Middle East, particularly in the United Arab Emirates.
