Dogecoin is positioning itself for a potential major rally, as technical signals suggest that a monthly close above a critical level could reignite bullish momentum and drive prices back to their historic highs.

Currently trading near the lower boundary of a long-term Ascending Channel, Dogecoin has exhibited an upward consolidation pattern for several years, characterized by higher highs and higher lows bounded by parallel trendlines. This technical structure typically acts as a support-resistance framework, where a decisive break above or below the channel often defines future directional moves.

Recent analysis from Ali Martinez highlights the critical importance of the $0.20 price level, which coincides with the 0.786 Fibonacci Retracement level derived from the asset’s historical price action. According to Martinez, if Dogecoin manages a sustained monthly close above $0.20, it could trigger a strong upside extension toward its all-time high (ATH) of approximately $0.74. This would mark a full retracement of the correction phase and signal renewed investor confidence.

At present, Dogecoin is trading around $0.17, registering a gain of over 9% in the last seven days. However, the memecoin remains at a pivotal juncture. Failure to reclaim the Ascending Channel’s lower boundary could expose DOGE to a downside breakout, jeopardizing the bullish structure and potentially extending the current correction.

From a broader technical perspective, the next decisive moves will likely depend on whether DOGE can defend key support levels and capitalize on the improving market sentiment surrounding risk assets. Should a monthly close above $0.20 materialize, it would not only confirm the resilience of the long-term bullish trend but also set the stage for a renewed rally toward the $0.74 mark.

Investors and traders should closely monitor price action around the $0.20 threshold, as it remains the critical pivot point for Dogecoin’s near- to medium-term outlook
